Another nail in the coffin of Isiah Thomas
This is a lesson in what not to do if you work in NYC and are the President/Head coach/GM of a sports team. Especially if you happen to work right in the middle of Manhattan. There is no escape now. Isiah Thomas has signed his own death certificate.
From today's NY Daily News
Isiah keeps on fanning flames
Thomas takes shot at Garden crowd's basketball IQ
BY FRANK ISOLA
DAILY NEWS SPORTS WRITER
Isiah Thomas cautioned reporters yesterday not to turn the Knicks' season into a battle of wills between the embattled head coach and the team's disgruntled fan base. But it may be too late.
The fans already have started chanting "Fire Thomas," and Thomas didn't help himself after practice yesterday when he said that Wednesday's crowd at Madison Square Garden had the wrong take on the Knicks' 113-102 loss to Washington.
"I can't expect them to understand the game the way I understand it or see it the way we see it," Thomas said. "It's better that the punishment is given to myself than to the players. The players got to think and move free and perform. We had a good day today."
OMFG he actually says "we had a good day today." Are you kidding me Isiah??? Your team got thoroughly THRASHED by a team, who, before they had played the Knicks, were 0-8 on the road!!! Thats right, ZERO WINS AND EIGHT LOSSES!!! Hello??? And then he has the balls to say the fans don't know what they're talking about and shouldn't boo because Washington was on fire hitting all their shots. Well DUMMY of course they were on fire because your team plays NO DEFENSE!!!
Why does it ALWAYS happen to the Knicks?? Bad defensive teams have games like that, good ones don't, and it is your fault Isiah Thomas for building a team filled with players who, either don't understand defense, or just don't want to do the necessary work that is required to play good defense in the NBA. It's sickening and whats really bothersome is Isiah just doesn't get it. He thinks Knicks fans who pays HUNDREDS and even THOUSANDS of dollars PER TICKET for ONE game should be happy watching their team get blown out at home game after game after game. Maybe the fans would cut the Knicks some slack, but unfortunately that isn't going to happen because this team hasn't won a playoff game since 2001!!!!!!!! Granted Isiah has only been here since the end of 2002, but he hasn't won as GM or coach.
Good riddance Isiah Thomas, the end can't come soon enough. And please take Towelbury errr Stephon Marbury aka Stiffbury errr I mean "Starbury" with you!!!

Isiah Thomas:I just don't know the answer
Following is an excerpt from the article in today's NY Post
ISIAH: I JUST DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER
By MARC BERMAN
"I don't think I've ever seen anything like this since I've been in the NBA," Thomas said. "I don't even know who to call to ask for advice. Most teams win at home and lose on the road. We've done just the opposite.
"There's an aggression you need to perform at a high level. Our aggression at home is different than on the road. Our aggression at home - it's tentative and cautious. The environment becomes a very comfortable place for the visiting team."
Thomas then stopped himself. "I don't know. I'm grasping here. I don't [bleeping] know. I wish I had the right answer. I can't bull [bleep] and tell you that I do. I'm going to work like hell to figure it out."
It was a startling admission for someone with a master's degree in spin. The Garden record is tragic, too, because the Knicks have seen attendance fall after last season's 23-59 disaster. Their season-ticket base dropped 15 percent.
Knicks record at Madison Square Garden is 1-7 heading into tonights game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Pathetic!!! Now Isiah has resorted to blaming the fans for their crappy home record. Well you know what? Just WIN GAMES!!! Play hard, give 100% effort and the fans will cheer your lame sorry excuse ridden asses. Last year they blamed Larry Brown, now they are blaming the fans. Instead, these Knicks should be thanking the fans for paying hundreds of dollars every night to watch you chicken shits play "basketball"

Starbury bares all in Playboy
Now that Stephon Marbury's career is in the dumps, where else do former celebrity stars go for a last ditch effort at publicity? Why Playboy magazine of course. In this issue of Playboy, "Starbury" talks about his kinky towel fetish and also reveals he's made love to over 50,000 towels in his lifetime.

A Walking Rain Cloud
This was from a Yahoo sports article titled "Paying a Steep Price"
As losers go, Stephon Marbury rates among the biggest in basketball history. Everyone kept waiting for him to change, but he never did. And never will. To find a presence as eroding as Marbury, one as self-absorbed and cynical and a better bet to suck the selflessness out of a locker room, is downright impossible.
"A walking rain cloud," an ex-teammate once described him to me.

NY Giants Imploding
compliments of the NY Daily News
Wow what a mess it's been in NY Giants land the past couple of weeks. Last week you had Tiki Barber blaming the coaches for their loss to Chicago and now you have the ultimate choke job, the Giants blowing a 21 point lead with about 10 minutes left in the 4th quarter. he he it's always fun watching a team implode when it's not a team you root for. I'm a Jets fan.
Everyone needs to STFU and just get back to playing football, or your sorry asses are going to get clobbered by the Cowboys this weekend. My money is on the Cowboys because Eli Manning is a scared little pussy who keeps on making mistake after mistake. And Tiki Barber should STFU and retire already.

Marbury's Excuse
We now know one of the reasons for Marbury being benched in the second half against the Bulls on Saturday was because he missed the morning shootaround. Apparently he made his wife call in sick for him because he was too busy unloading the 10 beef chalupas he ate at Taco Bell the previous night.

Towelbury
Stephon Marbury caused a big ruckus today when he refused to board the team plane which was scheduled to fly to Chicago for the matchup on Tuesday against the Bulls. At one point he got so angry, he built himself a cave made of towels and hid inside. Eventually Marbury came out from his towel cave when Isiah Thomas promised him for the like 100th time, he can go back to being "Starbury."

Marbury sulks Knicks lose again!
Knicks lose again at home, this time to the Chicago Bulls. Another horror show for Stephon Marbury who was benched by Isiah Thomas for pretty much the entire second half. Caught on camera, Marbury was seen sulking and pouting from the bench as the rest of the Knicks tried to make a ferocious comeback because Marbury was sooo God damn awful to begin with. Isiah in his post game press conference said Marbury had the shits and missed the shootaround before the game and that is why Marbury was benched in the second half.
See the picture below, clearly Marbury was not a happy camper.

Ammo to the Knicks
Knicks beat Boston and Marbury still stinks!
As is the case nowadays that whenever the Knicks play well or even win a game, Stephon Marbury is nowhere to be found. In 19 minutes of "glorious" play, "Stiffbury" had 2 points and 3 assists. Kudos!
I came up with an idea that perhaps Marbury needs a new hairdo, you know, something really scary which might frighten the other team. So here is Stephon Marbury modeling his new do called the "Afrobury"

James Dolan:Keeping his pimp hand strong
Basketball for Dummies
credit this to the NY Daily News
My all-time favorite back page. It's literally the blind leading the blind. This was printed last season when the Knicks were in the amidst of another one of their long losing streaks. Owner Jim Dolan comes out and ridiculously makes this statement, "believe it or not, but winning is not integral to our strategy right now."
No shit! And apparently winning is not integral to your strategy this season too as you douchebags are now 4-9!!!
Something Wicked
What in God's name were the Knicks thinking when they paired Stephon Marbury aka "Starbury" and Stevie Francis aka "Stevie Frankenstein" together??? Anyone with half a brain knew that was a recipe for disaster. I find it funny that Isiah Thomas and Knicks owner James Dolan tried to put the blame on Larry Brown saying "Larry begged us to get Francis." Even if that were the case, Larry doesn't own this team!!! His job is to coach, not dictate the roster!!! He is not a gm!!! Thats why the Knicks suck because they have an owner and a gm who should have realized that matchup from hell was not going to work!

Inevitable
Well what can I say other than the title speaks for itself. Anybody who didn't see this coming as Bill O'Reilly says, is living "in the land of Oz."
Just buy out Marbury and Francis, then trade Eddy Curry, or as I like to refer to him as "Eddy Chubby"
